We dreamt up this series of documentary-style live videos with our friend Laura-Lynn Petrick last year. She filmed us perform at the Tropico Beauty Studios in December 2019, as well as countless other locations throughout our time in LA while we prepared for the release of our album. Travelling and playing music was easy, touring was on the horizon, we had no idea what 2020 would bring. They feel like an imprint of a different time.

We’re sharing these now to give a little bit of insight into the record we made and give anyone whose interested a nice deep dive into the world of TOPS. There are four videos to watch, all available on our youtube channel.

The audio recordings from these sessions are available exclusively on bandcamp today, 3 July 2020, with all proceeds going towards Taking What We Need. They are an informal volunteer-run community group based in Montreal that is dedicated to helping trans women, trans-feminine (AMAB) and two spirit people get what they need through discretionary funding.
